Justin McKinley, DVM
Medical Director
Dr. McKinley is a local Georgian, born and raised in McDonough, GA. He is a proud ‘Double-Dawg’ having completed both his undergraduate degree and is a doctorate in veterinary medicine at the University of Georgia in Athens. He has always known he wanted to be a veterinarian even at a young age and only pursued veterinary medicine throughout his entire scholastic career.
In his younger years, Dr. McKinley had extensive experience with dairy cattle but had a stronger passion to work canines and felines in his professional career, so decided to focus on small animal companion medicine. Dr. McKinley has completed certifications and continuing education in veterinary dentistry and is ‘Fear Free’ certified. He also has a strong passion for internal medicine as well as surgery.
When he is not working, Dr. McKinley enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and Labrador Retrievers at their farm, fishing and enjoying the great outdoors. He played college rugby and is still involved in the sport.
